Our Wines
Domaine Sève
Solutré - Pouilly-Fuissé - Macon - France
Father, Jean-Pierre, has handed over the reigns to his children, Mathilde and Antoine, but can still be found working in the fields and winery. For over 5 generations now, our winemaking savoir-faire has allowed us to produce great Pouilly-Fuissé and Mâcon-Solutré wines.
The domain extends over 20 parcels of vines and a total surface area of 7.7 hectares. They are situated in the village areas of Solutré, Fuissé and the hamlet of Pouilly, aged from 3 to 68 years and planted exclusively in the Chardonnay grape variety.
Our parcels of vines are worked in balanced-approach viticulture; we adapt our procedures as a function of weather conditions. Certified HVE 3 (Haute Valeur Environnementale), we are proud of the quality of our Pouilly-Fuissé and our Mâcon-Solutré wines.
Mâcon-Solutré 2019
Mâcon-Solutré is in the ‘Mâcon-Villages’ regional appellation. By decree in 2005, the name ‘Mâcon’ followed by Solutré-Pouilly, designates the white wines from the area specified in the single village of Solutré-Pouilly. Our 1.25 hectares of vines planted in the Mâcon-Solutré appellation are found at the entry to Pouilly, up slope and opposite the Rock of Solutré, with Chardonnay the unique grape variety.
